Happy Friday dear friends!

Wasn’t Thanksgiving a delightful kick-off to a gorgeous holiday season? Here at the Inn we’ve been celebrating the holidays since 1 November. I admit it, however not because we’re so darn festive. My bin of Christmas items was ousted from our basement due to our final renovations. SO, instead of toting it one more hapless place, I decided to put up the tree, redo the mantle and poke sparkly snowflakes about the house. It looks magnificent.

In other news, my dear sister is expecting TWINS in the spring!! To celebrate their arrival I am going to make a custom set of baby bumpers (so pretty who can resist?). She has a theme of orange and hot summer colors. Perfectly gender neutral — if neutral could ever be applied to orange!

We selected the material on Black Friday. Who is energized by the complete madness of the BEST shopping day of the year? Us. It only took us about 30 minutes to get to the cutting counter. Glory. Piecing will start today!

Etta Update: She is almost 3 months old! & as cheerful and chubby as ever. Want to kiss her all the time — even when she sleeps 🙂

Among the trees 🙂

Yellow, grey, white birches, birds, and hedgehogs etc.! It is such an exciting time. I’m racing the clock these days, as my energy levels drop roughly 2% per day 🙂
